Feedback from parents and students
Just a quick note to let you know two things.
Firstly, Trahern achieved NCEA level 3 with excellence (which makes it excellence for all three NCEA years).
Secondly,
Trahern is off to Otago to start Bsc Health Sciences – with the goal of
being a Doctor. Fingers crossed he is one of the
10% that are accepted into a Bsc medicine and surgery.
Many
thanks – and thanks for the big part that Kip McGrath have played in
both Trahern and Morgan’s academic success (Morgan is off
today to start a post-grad medical degree in Australia, after
successfully completing a LLB/BCom at Auckland Uni).
Thanks to your tuition services my
analytical skills enabled me to achieve an NZQA history scholarship award while
still in year twelve when most would attempt it at year thirteen: Gordon
My son improved two years in his reading age in approximately six months of
tutoring at Kip McGrath. He has gone from a reluctant reader to a reader who is
enthusiastic and confident. I didn’t have the skills to help my son and using
Kip McGrath is the best decision I have made in my son’s education!
I just wanted to let you know that Chelsea
passed her NCEA Level One. Yay !!! She passed 12 Achievement Standards and 10
Unit Standards in Maths ! Whoop ! Whoop !
Thank you both SO much for all your support to help her achieve those
great results in Maths through what was a tough year for her.
Hi, I am Karen, Sam’s
mother. Sam has told me that he had really enjoyed having you as his
tutor. I would love to have you teach him next term, and because of that I was
wondering what time and days you teach. Thank you very much.
Hayley attended a holiday programme
prior to her exams last October for English - 4 day course-to help with her
essay writing. She is thrilled that she passed her Level 2 English and found
the help that she got from Kip McGrath helped her achieved her pass. Many
thanks for a doing a great job!
Sarah has passed with a Merit in her
English (YR 12) - she changed to a book/film Jo had suggested and would not
have received the Merit without Jo suggesting the change. She also got an
achieved on Unfamiliar Text that Jo was helping her with. We just wanted Jo to
know that she really made the difference.
We have used up a total of 13 sessions
with the fabulous Jo so far and would like to place the remaining 7 sessions on
hold until needed. We do plan on using them up by the end of the year.
Josh has been really happy with the
progress in Maths even though he has only been twice – Thank you! See you next
term!
Cheers and thanks so much for your
patience, we are really grateful and have been telling anyone and everyone
about your centre!
